Webb17 maj 2011 · When a player’s ball lies in GUR and there is a Local Rule allowing the lie of the ball to be preferred, there are two Rules (both of which are optional) that allow him to lift his ball. The player has the option of choosing which Rule (if any) he will apply first. Similar options are available to the player in the following circumstances. WebbProviding a Local Rule is in place, bunkers may be taken out of play and marked as GUR for situations such as severe or prolonged wet weather. Bunkers flooded with water, can be marked as GUR; allowing scores to still be acceptable and returned for handicap purposes. Players must be made aware of which bunkers are GUR before play.
