WebDec 16, 2013 · #2 · Dec 13, 2013 There are two parts that I used when removing mine. A 1/8" barbed 90 for replacing the plastic piece with the two hoses coming in near the front of the motor. The second part that worked for me was a copper brake line washer and I reused a bolt from my EGR delete to replace the banjo bolt. Seemed a little low to me too, but that's how book rates go sometimes (book on LLY and LBZ injectors is something like 4.8 hours for all 8, but LMM is 10.6 or something like that). I can't imagine both would be off that much from GM's book rate. Ahhh.
WebSep 13, 2024 · Either the ninth fuel injector is fouled (there's a test for that), or one of the two EGT sensors is slow to respond (there's a test for those, too). With an experienced Duramax technician, these are easily testable parameters. I had a 13 LML in the shop with the same code.
