Why we love it: Aleppo is considered one of the main centres of Arabic traditional and classic music with the Aleppine Muwashshahs, Qudud Halabiya and Maqams (religious, secular and folk poetic-musical genres). In December 2024, the Qudud Halabiya was included into the UNESCO's intangible cultural heritage list as Intangible cultural heritage.
